New Jäger C-TEC weaving machine for heavy tech­ni­cal fabrics

The new C-TEC weaving machine solves a previous problem for weaving mills in the pro­duc­tion of heavy tech­ni­cal fabrics. It offers the added value of pro­duc­ing dense fabrics with the required high weaving tension, which cannot be achieved by any con­ven­tional weaving machine. The exten­sive range of appli­ca­tions for the C-TEC includes fabrics for fil­tra­tion, logis­tics, pro­tec­tive equip­ment, geo­t­ex­tiles as well as building and pack­ag­ing textiles. For example, very high-quality conveyor belt fabrics, process, filter and sieve belts can be man­u­fac­tured pro­duc­tively and reliably.

The Jäger C-TEC rapier weaving machine is avail­able in variable widths up to 5.4 meters. Uniquely equipped with a non-contact weft inser­tion system on both sides without guide teeth, the weft yarns are inserted into the shed without touching the often sen­si­tive warp yarns.

The machine produces dense fabrics from monofil­a­ments, mul­ti­fil­a­ments and spun yarns with a high tensile strength of 30 kN per meter (162 kN at a weaving width of 5.4 meters). The new Jäger C-TEC is char­ac­ter­ized by its stable con­struc­tion, a high inser­tion rate of 200 wefts per minute and ease of oper­a­tion.
