Stock meshes are standardized reinforcement meshes that are manufactured in fixed dimensions with defined wire diameters and wire spacing and kept in stock. They are immediately available and are particularly suitable for construction projects with uniform, repetitive geometries, such as floor slabs, ceilings or simple walls. Thanks to their standardization, stock mats also enable quick, easy and economical installation on the construction site. Due to the high quantities in which these meshes are typically produced, fully automatic production from a reel is recommended. The Schlatter portfolio includes various high-performance welding systems that are tailored precisely to these requirements.
Engineered meshes are manufactured individually according to planning specifications for a specific construction project. The dimensions, arrangement and diameter of the reinforcement bars are defined on a project-specific basis and are based on the respective structural requirements. Thanks to this customized production, engineered meshes offer a high degree of flexibility and at the same time help to reduce waste and installation costs. As engineered meshes are usually produced in smaller quantities and frequent changes to dimensions, bar arrangements and diameters are required, bar systems are particularly suitable for this type of production. Schlatter machines not only impress with their performance, quality, stability and high system availability, but also with their short changeover times and high production capacities. In addition, the degree of automation can be flexibly adapted to individual requirements.
During the mechanical prefabrication of column reinforcements, reinforcement cages for columns and piers are manufactured according to the respective specifications. Longitudinal bars and stirrups (cross wires) are precisely welded together to form load-bearing reinforcement cages. The use of automated Schlatter welding machines significantly improves dimensional accuracy, repeatability and quality. At the same time, productivity is increased and assembly work on the construction site is considerably reduced. For these requirements, Schlatter offers customized system concepts that guarantee consistently fully automatic and high-quality production.
Steel spacers are used in floor slabs, ceilings and walls between the lower and upper reinforcement. They reliably guarantee the correct spacing between the reinforcement layers and thus ensure compliance with structural and design requirements. Schlatter coiling systems offer an excellent solution for the economical and consistently precise production of these reinforcement elements, with high machine availability and consistent product quality throughout.
