Our resource-saving stretch­ing and respool­ing lines are spe­cially designed for the pro­duc­tion of high-strength and highly elastic steel wire, which is used in concrete rein­force­ment elements. Thanks to state-of-the-art tech­nol­ogy, this line produces com­pactly strapped coils with wire diam­e­ters of 6.0 to 25.0 mm and a weight of 2.5 to 8.0 tons.

Modular pro­duc­tion of rein­forc­ing steel in accor­dance with inter­na­tional stan­dards

Our line mainly produces stretched and rewound compact coils of classes 500 B and 500 C, which meet all current European and inter­na­tional stan­dards. With an optional upgrade for cold rolling processes, class 500 A rein­forc­ing steel can also be produced on the same line.

Process opti­miza­tion through inte­grated automa­tion

The line’s rewinders combine strap­ping, labeling, weighing, sampling and reel removal in a fully auto­mated system. The result: stable pack­ag­ing, precise weight data, seamless labeling and high process reli­a­bil­ity with minimal oper­at­ing effort.

Equip­ment features of the stretching/rewinding line

The stretch­ing and rewind­ing line impresses with its state-of-the-art system tech­nol­ogy:

  • Vertical pay-off system VPS or hor­i­zon­tal pay-off system HPS for unwind­ing wire rod spools with wire diam­e­ters from 6 to 25 mm.
  • STR stretch­ing unit with inte­grated descal­ing unit for the pro­duc­tion of highly elastic and resis­tant rein­forc­ing steel wire.
  • Vertical drawing block DBB with two capstans with V-shaped grooves for a precise drawing process.
  • Hor­i­zon­tal (HS) or vertical spooling device (VS) for auto­mated winding of steel wire onto compact spools.
  • Fully auto­matic vertical winding device (AVS) for winding the steel wire onto remov­able spool holders.
