Control center

The mobile and sta­tion­ary rail welding systems are equipped with a control center that includes the function control (PLC), welding current control and the Schlatter Weld Analyzer.

Schlatter Weld Analyzer

The latest gen­er­a­tion of the Schlatter Weld Analyzer ensures that welds are carried out with con­sis­tently high quality. The Weld Analyzer records and visu­al­izes the three main para­me­ters – force, current and dis­place­ment – on a screen in real time through­out the entire welding process. Imme­di­ately after the welding process, the system checks whether all para­me­ters are within the spec­i­fied tol­er­ances and displays this imme­di­ately. At the same time, the welding data is auto­mat­i­cally archived on the built-in PC to ensure complete doc­u­men­ta­tion and quality control.

System AMS100

The AMS100 is the powerful flash butt weld machine for welding small to large rail profiles.

Maximum per­for­mance for larger rail profiles

Compared to the AMS60, it offers sig­nif­i­cantly more welding force and enables the pro­cess­ing of larger rail cross-sections, includ­ing grooved rails. These features make the AMS100 rail welding machine par­tic­u­larly suitable for freight train lines that require more robust rail cross-sections due to higher axle loads.

Ver­sa­tile in use

Despite its spe­cial­iza­tion in heavy-duty appli­ca­tions, the AMS100 has been used suc­cess­fully in high-speed rail networks. The machine has under­gone all the nec­es­sary approval pro­ce­dures and has proven that it works reliably even under the highest demands.

System AMS200

The AMS200 combines stress equal­iza­tion and flash butt welding in a single step – without an addi­tional drawing device.

Most reliable voltage equal­iza­tion

Mobile welding machines provide suf­fi­cient power to stretch rails to the cal­cu­lated length, taking into account the loss of material through the welding process. Even at low tem­per­a­tures, the AMS200 ensures reliable stress com­pen­sa­tion.

Pre­ci­sion for the final weld

With the trend towards replac­ing worn rail sections instead of entire tracks, the so-called last weld is becoming increas­ingly impor­tant. The AMS200 makes it possible to carry out stress equal­iza­tion and welding in a single pass – ideal for short rail sections where every second weld is the last.

Inde­pen­dent trimming device for the highest quality

The inde­pen­dent trimming device removes the welding burr directly after the process and ensures higher quality, as the rail ends remain clamped. The open design in the area of the rail foot prevents col­li­sions with sleepers and fas­ten­ings and facil­i­tates use in confined track areas.
