Cold rolling lines
Efficient production of steel wire for reinforcements and industry.
Cold rolling lines offer a sophisticated solution for the production of smooth and ribbed cold-rolled steel wire used in the reinforcement and industrial sectors. These lines produce wire with a diameter of 4 to 16 mm, which is supplied as a compact coil or on spools weighing from 2.5 to a maximum of 8 tons.
Technology and structure of the cold rolling line
The cold rolling line consists of several high-precision components:
- Vertical pay-off system VPS for unwinding wire rod with diameters from 5.5 to 16 mm.
- Wire preparation unit MDLD for mechanical surface cleaning and lubrication of the wire rod.
- Horizontal drawing block HBB, which draws the wire through special drive rollers and ensures the cold rolling and stretching process.
- Horizontal (HS) or vertical spooling device (VS) for winding the steel wire onto spools.
- Fully automatic vertical winding device (AVS) for winding steel wire onto fixed or removable spools.
As an option, the line can be extended with an SC cutting and straightening system to produce bars.
