System AMS200 – the latest mobile rail welding machine
AMS200 system for the last weld with stress compensation
The AMS200 is the latest Schlatter development of a mobile rail welding machine that can perform stress equalization and flash butt welding in a single operation, without the need for an additional drawing device.
The welding machine has the necessary force to stretch the rails to the required calculated length. The loss of material due to the welding process is taken into account. The machine offers plenty of travel so that stress equalization can be carried out reliably even at low temperatures.
The AMS200 has a deburring device that is independent of the carriage and removes the burr immediately after welding, even if the rail ends are jammed. The force acts in the neutral zone of the rail, which increases the welding quality and protects the machine. The machine is open in the area of the rail foot to prevent collisions with sleepers and rail fastenings as well as lifting of the rails.
The AMS200 is available in two system variants. The Supra Roadflex system is mounted on a truck with a rail-road chassis and is therefore very flexible in terms of where it can be used.
A compact 30-foot container is available for the Supra Multiflex system, in which the entire equipment is installed to save space. Alternatively, there is also a system in which two 20-foot containers (energy and welding containers) form a single unit.
